Our full-day tour to the Sacred Valley begins with a visit to Pisac, where we explore its famous artisan market and impressive archaeological complex offering panoramic views of the valley. Here, we will learn about Inca farming techniques and life in the ancient city. After exploring Pisac, we head to Urubamba for a buffet lunch including a variety of local specialties.
In the afternoon, we visit Ollantaytambo, a living Inca city with an archaeological site that served as both a military fortress and a religious temple. We climb its steep terraces to enjoy a panoramic view of the valley and learn about the strategic and spiritual importance of Ollantaytambo. Our final destination is Chinchero, known for its traditional textiles and beautiful market. Here, we will attend a weaving demonstration and learn about ancestral techniques before returning to Cusco, enriched by the cultural and landscape diversity of the Sacred Valley.
